Ghana is located in West Africa and it is a simply stunning country to travel around. One of the biggest attractions is the beautiful beaches; hundreds of kilometres of golden sand, aptly naming it 'the Gold Coast'. If you're looking to chillax in Ghana, then this is the place to do it.
The capital, Accra, is the commercial hub of the country and it is a great place to start any adventure in Ghana, whether that's travelling or volunteering. Clubbing is the thing to do in Accra; it is the birthplace of some of the country's most popular music, so put on your dancing shoes and get involved.

Gap Facts - Ghana
In Ghana, one cannot miss Lake Volta, the world’s largest artificial water body. This was created in 1996 by constructing a 370m wide and 124m tall dam at Akosombo in southern Ghana.
