An Introduction to Tanzania

Tanzania  is the largest country in East Africa, bordered by Kenya and Uganda to the north; Rwanda, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west; and Zambia, Malawi, and Mozambique to the south.

Tanzania has some of Africa's top sites and activities. Names such as Kilimanjaro, Serengeti and Zanzibar evoke memories and thoughts of far flung places but they're all packed into one country.

You can go from bustling cities to deserted beaches, from the tallest point in Africa to diving off the coast. And if you're looking for wildlife, Tanzania has some of the best in the world - the safaris are like no other.

Tanzania has remained stable despite turmoil in surrounding countries and this stability has helped cause a boom in the tourism industry. There's never been a better time to go, so what are you waiting for?
