Grown-ups: taking over the world!
Yes, it's official, adventurous travellers of 25 and over make up the fastest-growing section of the gap year population. So, whether you're a 20-something careergapper who's decided to get out of the rat-race, or a 60-something Saga-lout spending your kids' inheritance, you’re not alone...
Gapyear.com has loads of ideas to help you plan your careergap, and this 25+ zone is a great place to start. We’ve got messageboards where you can chat with other grown-up gappers, organisations which can help you volunteer in India, trek in Borneo and loads more, and tales of derring-do from 25-plusers who’ve motorbiked around Oz, cycled up Chile, taught in Thailand and eaten cows’ brains in Laos.
However, we want this section of the site to be even better... and that’s where you come in. If you’re over 25 and into travel, and if you enjoy writing, then click here >> to share your experiences with the editorial team - you could even become our new 25+ editor!
Enjoy your travels!
