And so, on the 2nd of December, three months after I’d left, I returned to Heathrow airport, very tired and very exited and very happy to be home. I love travelling, but there really is no place like home, especially at Christmas time. And so, a tube and a train ride later, I was standing in Peterborough train station hugging Tom. We went to the pub and didn’t really stop drinking for the next twelve hours. I had a fantastic night, it was so good to see all my friends again, and to drink pints, and to understand the currency and to hear some good music.

I’ve been back for 5 days now and I’m not feeling quite so jubilant. I’ve realised that I have less than no money, the weather is shocking and I’ve got to find a job. poo. Oh well, there’s always next time to plan………

hey every 1 im goin travelin to OZ, NZ and Thailand for about a year, 3 months in OZ, 3 months in NZ and 6 months in Thailand. how much money would i need to take? i’ll be working in OZ and NZ.
