need a new zealand guide book
Hi I’m looking for a guide to new zealand - preferably rough guide or lonely planet

I haven’t got one I’m afraid, I left it in Jo’burg if you want to try there ;-)
You could always borrow one from your local library or I managed to pick an old one up in my libraries throw out sale. They always seem to have a few guidebooks on there book sale shelves so I keep an eye out.
And of course there’s always amazon, you can often get a bargain second hand on on there.
I used the Lonely Planet. I used it a bit to find out about the sites but actually there’s a lot of information free in NZ, the best hostels guide is free (the BBH hostels guide, $40 to join and worth every penny), and you find out so much by word of mouth. So you can live without a guide, there’s not many roads to follow anyway.
