On monday I got up and left Sydney for the outback.  Most people think of the outback as the middle of nowhere with no electricity and no civilisation.  Thats wrong.  How else could I be typping this up?

I’ve moved to West Wyalong, it’s about 450k’s west of Sydney, and around an hour and a halfs drive from Wagga Wagga.  It’s got a population fo around 7000, so it’s not that small.  It’s a nice little place with all the basics any town needs.  I came here becaus e I got a job through IEp to work in an outback pub.  Mine is called Tattersalls.

Tatts Hotel is a great little place, and is still owned by the grandson of the buy who built it 110 years ago - the only still owned hotel in NSW like this.  The staff are all so welcoming - in fat so is everyone.  I’ve met so many people in the last 48 hours it’s unreal.  Plus I’ve been invited out and for drinks and for Xmas and everything.  You couldn’t feel lonely here.  I’ve also met a Texan called Russel, whom I’m taking over from.  He’s a great laugh.  In fact, yesterday Me, Russ and Olivia (the current owner [Dennis]‘s daughter) went to Wagga Wagga for the day.

I’ll update you more next time but I gotta go - need to get something for tea!

See ya later!  :D
