I can’t belive my time at off Beat has gone so quickly.  I have made so many new friends and some that i will be very close to for the rest of my life.  We have experienced so many new things together and shared a lot of laughs and challenges.

This last few weeks we have had 4 cheetahs on the farm so we have had to keep an eye on our baby Kudo and Wilderbeest because we think the baby imparlas have been eaten already!  We visited the Cheetah breeding projet which was more like a farm - they breed to order and all the animals are caged and have no chance of being released.  The guides there wern’t very good either - they got the tortoise breeds wrong and thought they saw a black mumba which was clearly a female boomslang.

4 of us had to spend a day in the bush.  We were told that we could not be seen or heard for 11 hours and that we had to make fire, cook and entertain ourselfs the whole time.  We made 2 fires, fell asleep, cooked breakfast, played with baboon spiders and put on war paint aswell as hiding from the rest of the group while they were on rides and tracking us.  We got burnt and were filthy but it was great fun.
