Hey , well i’ve been back for about 2 days now so as you most likely figured out i’m back safe and sound and we sorted out the flight, even if we spent the last 3 days days of our adventures in the airport, but ahh well!

We spent the last week on Koh Samui where we did a bungee jump for Laura’s birthday. Well Laura did the bungee, i did the ’ Rocket’..in which i was propelled from the floor , went up 60 meters and plummeted back down to Earth.

I’ve never been so scared in my entire life!

but i’m glad i did it, and Laura made the most hilarious noise when she jumped that will be forever etched in my memory.

When we flew back we stopped in Doha, and we got took to this 5 star hotel! We were in our smelly clothes that we’d been wearing for 2 days and looked so out of place in this really swanky hotel. If your flight it an over 8 hour wait you get a FREE place at this hotel. It was so posh but we felt it was just after all the crap we’d gone through.

So after taking lots of advantage of the free facilities we headed home and i’ve been out with my friends and seeing everyone has been so great.

I’ve has such an amazing experience and i’ll never forget all the brilliant people we’ve met. I’m so glad i did it and i’ve discovered alot about myself and have become more confident. Despite the mishaps , which happen anyway in life, it all turned out great and i’d reccomend S.E Asia to anyone and everyone.

and a last thank you for reading my diary, it’s been good to do it and i’ve had great feedback from everyone.

so my diary must finally come to a close and i’ll update the diary with pictures soon.

All the best and i’ve got 4 years of Uni to look forward to now!

Thank you again and adios!

x

Nice one Danners

Ive really enjoyed reading the diary and i really salute the fact that you have travelled such a journey at your age. Surely the bug has bitten and you will be hitting the road again as soon as you can.

I look forward to hearing about it when you do!

As for that bungy- did you do it at the Reggae Pub in Charweng. Wasn’t it an interesting affair passing through the ‘red light’ district to get there? I never had the balls to do it so well done there :D

I wish you all the best with your coming adventure that is university. By the way you speak, you will settle in no problem and will have a blast. Wish I could do it all again. Enjoy it and let me know how you are getting on if you have the time to drag yourself away from the Student Bar!

Thanks again

Dan
