Who, what, when, why, where (and maybe other W’s) to go on a Gap Year?

Hi, I’m relatively new to gapyear.com but the prospect of going on a gap year after finishing my A-Levels next year has been lurking around the back of my mind for some time now; I don’t think I need to go through all the reasons why again cus’ i think I’m already convinced that this would be a good thing for me :) but i’m still slightly stuck on where & what to do for it. So suggestions please :D

I’m pretty sure i want to go to Uni’ after the Gap Year but still unsure as to which course and where, which doesnt make my choosing what to do on this year any easier: however i think i’ll probably fall for one of the humanities - probably English Literature or Language… Anyway though I’m thinking some volunteer work is probably the best for me but im not sure as of yet where and with who :(  I do fancy perhaps a placement in Nepal let’s say teaching English but i’m still not sure :?

Advice/suggestions please? Thanks in advance   :)

You should have checked this site out a week or so ago, we had a meet in London to discuss everything you need to know about travelling, it was rather a sober affair, fully informative !!!  :wink:

You’ll have a great time travelling and dont miss out on uni! I can’t wait to go in september… although ive got lots of travelling to do before doing a bit of maths. hehe. Go where you want to go..its a huge question! with over 200 countries its hard for us to pick one for you!

there are specific boards for the different areas of the world if you fancy looking into an area in more detail - have an amazing time and message me if you want to talk over anything :D
