Im moving to Indonesa in August! Iv never been before, but up for the adventure…
I have a teaching job in Jakarta so anybody that will be around get in touch! ill have free weekends to travel about :)

Diving in Bali….where is a must?!
I went diving in Padang Bai which was good, there is a wreck at Tulamben dive site which most people go to dive. If you are in Bali though you should take a trip to Gili Meno to dive there. I didn’t but wish I had. It’s 1km x 2km and beautiful as can be. I just went snorkelling but dived down about 5m and swam with a huge turtle. Great fun. Have also heard that the North of Bali (quieter) is nice for diving.
We unfortunately didn’t get round to it, but i heard the North and the East are the good spots. Amed/ Tulamben, i have heard that wreck dive is pretty amazing and you don’t have to go too deep for it either?
So if you only plan on one or two dives, i would head for that….depends on what you are after, level of experience, if you’re certified etc…
