Auckland to London flights

Well, it’s been some time since I posted on here, but after my last success in the flight area, I thought I’d try again!

There seem to be a few people ‘in the know’ on here who have keen eyes out for cheap flights, or who work within travel companies. I’d like to enlist your help!

Looking to fly from Auckland, New Zealand through to London, Heathrow on 12th April, one way. Unfortunately, my dates are not flexible. Best price I can find so far (avoiding Aeroflot) is about 560 pounds with Etihad. Anyone able to beat that?

You can fly from KL to London with Air Asia X for £300, not sure how expensive it is to get to KL

Have you used Skyscanner that is generally pretty comprehensive

To be honest I think you have left if fairly late to get any really good deals

Yeah, check Air Asia. Note that they’re point-to-point only, so leave plenty of time to change flights - if you’re late for your second flight because your first was delayed, it’s your own problem.

I’ve been looking for some time for flights on this date, seems there’s been little to be had in the way of bargains for a while.

Oh well, Singapore airlines are doing a reasonable deal at 560 also, with less connections. Think i’ll opt for that.

Also, Singapore Airlines are good, if you’re flying economy. Good entertainment system, service, etc.

(I’d still take the extra legroom of an Air Asia “XL” seat in preference, though, if I could get a good deal.)
