Go to the zoo! It’s amazing, and so huge it’ll take up the good part of a day. There’s also a night safari that’s pretty cool as well, if you haven’t had enough of animals by then!

Singapore is really expensive if you’re coming in from SE Asia. It’s so clean and modern, so if you like shopping you’ll be spoilt for choice. Prices aren’t much different to here though unfortunately.

You need to have a Singapore Sling whilst you’re there! Apparently Raffles Hotel is the place to do this but you can get them at every single bar if not.

Oh, the musuem is also pretty good (I think it was just the national museum that I went to) - it has an audio tour thing that is actually so interesting ... and I’m not normally a fan of these.

Chinatown is quite nice just to wander around.

Basically, in two days you’ll have plenty to do and see; you’ll probably have trouble cramming it all in!

Don’t know about your location I’m afraid but I remember it was quite easy to get around on the train/metro system.

Will second the zoo

I did the Singapore Sling at Raffles, pretty cool with all the nut shells all over the floor, expensive but an iconic thing to do in Singapore

There are a few things on Sentosa Island, check out the website

I found Sentosa a bit of a let down, and for the cost of getting over there, I’d say leave it out.
The sea there is very dirty, and I found it like a happy happy cheesey disney stuff…. It was packed full of huge groups of teens - think I was pretty much the only white person there! It’s nothing special….!

The zoo was cool.
I loved wandering round Chinatown, Little India and the Arab Quarter.

I went to the museum too, which was something to do for a while!
I’m quite happy spending a few days wandering round taking photos, so if you’re into that you can easily fill two days for free that way! The Metro is good value too.

I think one of the things that should not be missed now is a visit to the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. You can buy tickets to visit the sky deck which is amazing. You have a great view of the city. Tickets to the roof of this hotel are not cheap, I think about 20 Singapore Dollars, but definitely worth while.

Eating at one of the outdoor food markets. I have never ate so well and so cheaply.

There is also a small rainforest in the centre of Singapore.

Eat Durian!
