Hey i’m 18 year old female looking for a travel break before i head of to uni in september. I’ll be backpacking Ireland, Scotland, France, Italy, and Greece. Only in each place for a short amount of time as my new lifeguarding job didn’t offer as many hours as i had expected..

Anyone wanting to meet up in any of these pleaces should let me know! We’re up for pubs, music fests, and seeing some good culture. Facebook me to chat Kirsten Anderson, from Quesnel, British Columbia.

As my funding is below expected, any locals along my travel path that would be willing to offer accomodation or cheap travel tips would be greatly appreciated! :)

Happy travels everyone!!

Hi im from up north ireland but not much happens in my town on st.patricks when compared to dublin! Most years i just go to belfast with my drinkin buddies in the college area, good times!

As for cheap accomadation have you checked out couchsurfing.com? Plenty of people (ex travelers) offering a free nights sleep around dublin!

Good luck with your trip! Im hoping to travel europe myself this summer!  :)

Hey!

Sorry can’t offer accommodation as I am currently in NZ but if you want to know anything about Scotland feel free to ask. You should check out
http://www.megabus.com for cheap buses. The train is generally more pleasant but the bus is generally a lot cheaper. Although you can get decent train fares if you book quite a bit in advance. I am from the highlands and travelling around on the train gives you absolutely spectacular views so it might be worth considering.
There was a bus that used to stop in my village called the ‘haggis bus’

I don’t know what its like but it seemed to be a UK version of Oz experience.
The west cost is awesome and if you have time/money a trip to Skye or one of the other islands (there are lots) is a must-do!
Check out www.ryanair.com
and www.easyjet.com
for cheap flight around Europe.

Have fun :-)
