Lands End to John O’Groats WALK 2012, wanna join?
In the process of planning a lovely little jaunt up to John O’Groats in the Spring of next year. I started planning this last year with a friend but they then moved out to Canada so my plans sort of fizzled out - BUT I’m thinking what the heck - I’ve got travel plans from May 2012 onwards so would be nice to squeeze something special into the few months at the beginning of the year.
The charity: Shelterbox
Target: to raise shit loads of money and complete the walk within a month!
Although I do have a love for the great outdoors, this is a road walk, walking on mostly B roads, possibly some safe A roads.
So, anyone game? or want to give some advice, criticism etc some replies would be great.
I’ve also considered breaking the walk into regional sections - maybe more people would be up for it then.
It’s quite a big trip to plan on my own - so sharing the planning and prep would be great!

Hi, I was planning on doing the walk next year also, but my wife is now pregnant so will probably do it 2013 around March - April time. If you do it next year please let me know how it went otherwise if your still interested in 2013 your welcome to join us.
