Hiya,

Me and a couple of friends are looking at going to SA for 3weeks in October. We plan to fly into Johanesberg and fly out of Cape Town. The only thing I really want to do is a safari at Krugar national park.

Can anybody give me some advice or tips on what else is a ‘MUST see and DO’

Thanks in advance

Kerry :-)

They give you good advice regarding local public transport.
The long distance buss’s are OK, just not the local stuff.

The bungy jump is at Bloukrans, which is about 20km before Port Elizabeth, if driving from Cape Town.

There is a off road quad excursion track, up past Blouberg, just North of Cape Town.
All the quads were in good condition, and all the riding gear is provided.
There is NO racing, it is a case of follow their leader, he doesn’t hang about though.
Chapmans peak is a good drive, and then head over Red Hill into Simonstown.

The helicopter flips over Table Mountain, and along the peninsula coast is good.
Here is the photo, this is our return landing, I got out first to snap a picture of her.

Gave a day out in Hout Bay.
Go to the harbour.
There are several excursion boats to Duiker Island.

The Bloukrans is an awesome jump, a it is ove a ravine.
When I jumped, there was about 30cm of water at the very bottom.

I would do it again in a heartbeat.
