Hi,,
Im totally new to this and never really done any proper traveling before.
Iv decided that this summer I will do something that I have always wanted to do which is spend a few months traveling around the States.
I haven’t made any concrete plans yet and totally open to any ideas or advice.
Places I really do want to go to are, LA, NY and Las Vegas.
I’m looking for some travel buddies as I want to share the adventure with like minded people and make new friends.
Anyone who is interested or has any advice would be great to hear from you.

Hey, I’m afraid I can’t help in terms of being a travel buddy, but I travelled the States from LA - NY and god knows how many places inbetween for 2 months last year.
How are you planning on doing the travelling? Hiring a car? Train? Bus?
We bought 2 month Greyhound passes which got us everywhere we needed to go. Obviously if you want to stop in random places then the Greyhound only stops in main towns, but it’s so easy. Just turn up at a station and book yourself a seat on the next bus going the direction you want! If you end up going with a few people it’ll be better, that way you’ll have company for some of the long journeys and will feel safer. Saying that, not once did myself or my girlfriend not feel safe. Of course it’s not cool being in a random town at 11pm but all the Greyhound stations are indoors and there’s lots of people around (who are also getting the bus of course) so it’s well worth looking at as an option. It’ll get you around Canada too!
USA is a perfect place for spending holidays there are many beautiful places to visit many activities can be done there.I would like to suggest you to visit Florida also as Florida is a beautiful place to spend holidays.

i’m looking to travel the us this summer too, i havent got A CLUE about how much its going to cost me or how id get about, but i’m definitely game to go xD. i just need some guidance ha.

I’m so excited for you and wish I could meet up with you - sounds like a great trip you are planning! I was able to see the cities I wanted to and visit the Parks also by joining a tour with the Green Tortoise. (I am now travelling with friends I met on the trip!) Since food is included and there are beds on the bus I was able to do my trip within budget.
