HiHiHi!
I would love to spend a month or two backpacking around Europe in July-October 2012, but most unfortunately I don’t have anyone to go with! And I don’t particularly want to go by myself!
I’m 18 and currently working in the UK and know absolutely nothing about backpacking :/
If anybody’s keen, let me know and I can start getting some plans together! :D
I’m hoping to do the same but I’d rather go sooner, Like March / April time.
So if you’d be able to change when you want to go, let me know. (:
Sorries, this is the earliest that I can go, and plus, I trust summer more :L
Hope you have a great time on your trip!
Hey im 19 and thinking about doing my trip! I want to do it with someone aswell as It’ll be my first time too!
Get in touch! July seems to be my date aswell
Okayokayokay! Sounds great! I’d like to visit quite a few countries in Europe to get the most out of my trip… I’m thinking France, Spain (Barcelona!), Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Greece and Hungary to name a few! From what I gather about backpacking, the best way (and cheapest way) to go is to stay in a variety of hostels… you can meet heaps of people this way too :) I’d like to see lots of things and experience the culture as well ~
Still interested???? :P:P
Hey I`d be up for something like this, how were you thinking of getting around inter railing? :)
I actually hadn’t thought about it much - but yeahs I think that would be the mode of transport
yes this sounds fab! id looked at doing interrailing aswell…think it would be great to have a girly trip!
Heyzies all :)
I’ve been doing my homework and researching some about Inter railing… and I’m so confused! You can get a pass that lasts a month and allows you to travel in about 30 countries,,, i think its whenevs… but I also think you have to book seats? And its about 350 quid…. so as a complete noob, I’m not really sure if I’m looking at the right thing. Does anybody know anything or have any experience to share?
Are you all defs up for this? Would be exciting to start formulating a plan!
check out doing it by coach also. see what the diffrence is in price and if it suits your needs.
used them lots of times in europe.
think if your under 26 u get a discount
But say if we were travelling from France to Spain… would that take a really long time?
i dunno i went from prague to amsterdam on eurolines coach direct . took about 12hrs. it was through the night so i just slept
the train took about 11hrs at that time and 1- 2 changes.
but the bus was way cheaper. look on there site for journey time timetables etc. and destinations.
just another option that may or may not suit your needs.
For real? 12 hours?!?!?! That’s pretty good! Thanks so much - I’ll go look into it :D
I would be interested in this trip :) What sort of budgets are you guys looking at??
Gads
I’m going to try and save as much as I can between now and August ~ I’d like to keep costs to a minimum if possible :)
Hey :) im looking to do some sort of travelling in June time as thats when my temp job ends! Most people on here reckon its better to do everything seperately (buses etc) instead of interrailing. And western europe is much cheaper. Spain and italy etc will eat your funds. I’d be on a tight budget but i need to get out into the world. Whats your budget?
