OZ Visa ?

Basically, my Aunt went travelling and went to OZ, long story short she was ‘asked to leave’ the country. Would this stop me from getting a visa to OZ?

I actually know someone right now that was kicked out the country 8 years ago for working illegally and now is here on a holiday working visa…
