Trouble is that lots of employers want you to have a TEFL that included at least 100 hours of classroom experience and took place over four weeks. This is the only type of TEFL that holds any weight.

A two day course sounds horribly short to me. I can’t really understand what you would have learnt in just two days that would make you more able and confident in the classroom.

In China, all that matters is you have white skin and a pulse.

Any update on where you’ll be going yet?

I thought it was a good idea because i didn’t have any experience and thought if i enjoyed it could do their follow up course.

I completed the course and now me and my friend are going to a week in Spain and all we pay for is flight. Its voluntary but like you said recruiters are looking for class room hours so thought this would be a good and close to home option to top my experience up!
Heading back to uni but fancied the course to do in my summer break and to help with travelling when i graduate :)

Ah fair enough!

That hands-on experience is the only real way to learn.

Good luck and let us know if you need any TEFL help in future.

Jinan fell through, because the guy was a mong and lied. Looking at a place in Jincheng, which looks good, weekends off too.

Anything going where you are? Want plenty of options this time!

I need two spaces, for me and my gf. And we cant come out until mid September. So Uni’s are having none of it!
