So the plan was to spend NYE in Sydney.. but I’ve left it a bit late… apparently 6 months isn’t enough time!

And im not prepared to stay a minimum 19 nights or anything ridiculous… really I only want to stay 4-5 nights in Sydney.

Does anyone know anywhere outside the city I could get public transport back to that doesn’t cost loads and has no minimum stay?

Or even something in the Sydney that hopefully people haven’t snapped up yet…?? (wishful thinking…)

Or some friends/family even!!

All hep appreciated!

The trains on NYE in Sydney are brilliant, so often and reliable so you don’t have to worry about that.  So looking outside the CBD might be better.  I can’t tell you about hostels as I was fortunate to have a friend to stay with.

I’m having the same problem!!! I’ve found a few hostels that have a minimum stay of only 7 nights so was planning on just booking the 7, but leaving after 5…. have you started looking outside of the CBD coz I wouldn’t even know where to start!!

Good luck in your search! xx
