just bought a car!! insurance???

Hey
We just bought a car in L.A. and are planning a 2 month road trip. We are just wondering if anyone knows about insuring the car short term. Is it possible to get car insurance for 2 or 3 months? We are 25 and 21 years old. Any advice would be really appreciated!

i am not 100% sure on this but i think i remember reading a topic on here a few months bac where someone had done something similar and found it very difficult to find a company willing to insure the as they werent full time us residents
