Heading to New Zealand!!!

I don’t mind the odd pair of heels hehe. I like poshing it up every now and then, but I’m generally a flat shoe girly haha.

I don’t think we’re gonna have enough hours in the weekend haha.

Yeah, can you imagine. People are just gonna read and be like WTF are they nattering on about haha. Although I like that Kenny keeps popping in the odd comment. Obviously we must be interesting enough to some degree.

Just read some reviews on Stray. Wow, very good. We most definitely have to investigate further. Errrrr, I want to be there NOW!

Stray does sound really good and from there website they seem to do some really cool things that you can’t do on other tours. there was even a review that said someone had persauded people to join them from the kiwi tours because stray was better. They also seem to do not just the tourist places which would be really cool to see more of it.

The campervan does sound really good, its just the cost of it, dont want it to be stupid money for just a few nights.

I agree with the tea lol, english breakfast - sorry thats just made up, give me my yorkshire tea any day of the week.

Above auckland looks likes its amazing, but there does seem to be a lot more to see on the south island, more national parks and the glaciers. There seems to be lots of volcano’s to see. Im sure i read somewhere that nz is smaller than the uk, some of the tours on kiwi only take like 22 days to do both islands so it can’t be that big.

Super excited for the weekend, think we’ll have no voices left by the end. I am a total flats girl, i hate wearing heels and often leave them in my car and choose the flats instead. Give me jeans and trainers any day of the week.

This is a very long conversation now, i think people would laugh to read through it all, or give in. It probably doesnt make too much sense, especially now we are discussing tea lol

Yeah, english breakfast tea sucks. Lets all agree to take a stash of yorkshire tea with us to help us make it through haha.

I agree with you Lizzie, I think it may be seriously worth looking into the camper to see if it benefits us as there’s no point unless we can do it relatively cheaply.

I thought NZ was approx same size as UK. I think its cos the population is a lot less than ours, but anyway they have far prettier and amazing placed to visit compared to good ol’ blighty.

I am more a flats girl as I’m sure Lizzie knows, but I am willing to suffer the odd heel pain for say a wedding or a posh night out (which is about once in a blue moon nowadays). I certainly won’t be taking any with me, no siree.

Can’t we just go, like, NOW!!!!!!??

Hiya ladies…just got in from work…I swear the days are actually getting longer the closer I get to leaving!!!!

Yeah I totally agree about the camper thing if it works out ridiculously expensive it would be daft to do it. But hopefully we could get a good deal…even if its just for a week.

Yeah Ive got some really nice heels…but I never wear them…I just don’t have the heart to throw them away lol! And if I do wear heels for a night out…I either lose them or end up walking home with them in my hand!!! I lost a really nice pair in Thailand…think I left them near the beach…I bet someones got them lol!!! Im not taking any with me either.

Volcanos, national parks, glaciers, forests,  beaches, mountains, oceans…WANNA DO THE LOT!!!! Weve got so much time and its quite a small country which means we can spend as much time as we want in our favourite places yay!!!

Looks like stray is winning at the mo with all of us. Kinda hoping that if we go into their offices in NZ altogether then we might get a special offer or discount…thats what happened when I went into ozexperience in Sydney!!!

Just had a quick look at travellers photos on the stray website…made me wanna do it even more now!!!!

The days are deffinetly getting longer and so are the weeks. I just want to be put there now seeing all these amazing places.

Stray is deffinetly sounding good. Someone put on kiwi one (I know not the same) that she had paid full price and everyone else that had booked it there had paid a reduced fee, so we might find the same. They do seem to do special offers on the site as well, so will have to keep checking those out.

I am a total flats girl. I own 3 pairs of heels, one is a pair of boots that I bought because they are pretty but I have only worn them once. I will be packing my flip flops and flats.

There is loads to see, and like you say Kelly because we have the time we don’t have to rush it and because it’s a pretty small places it should be quite easy to spend time seeing something properly and not thinking, I can only be here one day.

Thats exactly what Im thinking too!!! All the time in the world…yay!

Just so u know ladies Im still arriving at half 12 on Saturday. Theres quite a few trains back on Sunday so if u wanna go for breakfast somewhere together and then maybe do sumats else the Im up for that but there are also trains back in the morning so if you guys are busy on Sunday theres no problem with me getting an early train.

I am sooooooooo excited to get out there and to experience nz and to se all these beautiful places.

Me and Caroline are parking at my brothers house and then walking in so we will be there for 12:30.  Really looking forward to this weekend! Maybe that’s why the days are going slow this week.

We have all the time in the world when we get there and its gonna be immensely amazing, but why does it also feel like its gonna take all the time in the world to get to when we’re leaving, grrrr!!

Speaking of Sunday. My friend is putting on a charity football match on Sun near to where I live for the Cystic Fibrosis trust and she said its £1 to spectate. Its from 10-12. So if you guys fancy going and perving on men in shorts (well guys that work at Morrisons, so maybe not that sexy haha), then just say the word and we can nip up to show our support.

Well I have all tomorrow off now, cos I’m off to the full wedding of my friend now, so I guess today for me is Friday (yey).

It has been a particularly long week, but like you say I think its cos we’ve been looking forward to the weekend.

I think we sound like we’re all on the same page/wavelength etc for our views on how and what we’re gonna do. Just the exciting part to come….talking about it and planning it!!!

Eeeeeeeeeeeee, gonna be sooooo much fun :-D

Woken up with a shitty cold this morning but knowing that in less than three months im gonna be in NZ has taken the edge off it!

I really enjoyed this weekend, it was good to meet up. It was a good laugh, hope you liked the tiny bit of york that you saw lol. You are now saved in my phone as stranger danger kelly- sorry lol.

I got the confirmation of Likeca arrival yesterday so he has been posted.

I didnt want to go back to work yesterday, tonight im having an early night.

Also…been thinking about getting a yha discount card…they seem to give u a pretty gud discount…not just on hostels too. But not sure if theres a better discount card other than the yha one. Have u girls looked into it? I had a vip one auz but hardly used it!

Kev has arrived!!! But hes been sent to the main post office as he wouldn’t fit in through my letter box the fatty lol! So gonna pick him up tmrw i think.

Had a luk at all my clothes and stuff and played about with my backpack earlier…i seriously need to cut back on my clothes lol. Bought all my toiletries the other day too…suntan lotion etc so im pretty much all sorted now yay! Still need some decent combats for walking/hiking in…might get some craghoppers…bit pricey but worth it i reckon.
