Best Independent Travel Series?
I’m sure theres been a thread like this before but what the hell, I’ve recently found this show Departures.. Its pretty great, two canadian guys and a camera man just going round the world. They mix up doing touristy stuff and more off the beaten track but i like the fact its three guys and they like to go out and party n that. Its good how you can see their personalities change over the series too. You can watch them all here

It’s a more flashpacker doc but definitely inspiring i’d recommend it for sure.
Also Vice have some good docs, most of them arent particulary backpacker orientated though there are some like this US hitchhiking one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QO3-AAVTeDA&feature=g-u-u
those guys also go through china and up to alaska too its pretty great. also if you havent seen the north korea doc i’d definitely recommend them. and some of the drugs ones.
and of course theres long way round, by any means and all that but any other recommendations?
