Hello :)

I’m looking to go to South America for 3-6 months, starting from the Caribbean and working my way down to Chile, some time in 2013, (I’m pretty flexible when), but I need a travel buddy! I’m also planning a separate trip to Asia in the same year.
I’d like to do volunteer work as well as general backpacking and sightseeing, beaches, cities, etc, and I’d love to do the Inca Trail.

If anyone’s interested feel free to get in touch :)

Hey,

I’m not sure of the dates yet, because I may be doing a round the world, but I am going to go volunteering in Cuzco for 2 months.

After I’m going to travel round the Southern part of Peru (probably will skip out Lima) and Bolivia for as long as my money lasts.

If you want to contact me my email’s .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

Just a quick update…

I’ve booked my flights! - flying from London to Salvador in March 2013, then got an open return from Colombia.
I’m going with a girl I met from a travel site, and we’re in the process of planning it.
We’re going to Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia, and we’re taking camping gear and doing a few volunteer courses along the way to reduce costs and to lengthen the trip out.
So excited!!!!

If anyone’s still interested just let me know. :)

Hey guys,
I’ll be in Rio for a few days late Jan before heading to Salvador for Carnival and where ever South America takes me from there for 3-6 months, just have some countries I want to visit and the rest will be worked out as I go. If anyones keen to chat or catch up over there let me know.

Matt.

What dates are you going to be in Peru and Bolivia for? I am volunteering in Cusco from Feb 4th - April 4th and then I am travelling around until the 17th June.

Hi Zoe,
We’re looking to reach Bolivia in June, and then Peru in July - depending on what we love, how long we want to stay, what we want to do, etc.
Where are you volunteering at, and what are you doing?

I don’t know the specific place yet, but I am going to be teaching school children English around the Cusco or Sacred Valley area with IVHQ.

Okay, I’ll be in Peru in June I think and in Bolivia April to Mid May time, though if I really like it, I could stay there until early June but no later really (as I have to fly home from Lima on the 17th June).

Where exactly were you planning to visit? :)

PERU:
Arequipa, Colca Canyons, Cusco & Machu Picchu, Nazca Lines, Huacachina, Lima, Huaraz, Chiclayo, Yurimaguas, Amazon boat trip to Iquitos.

What about you?

Hey there,

Sorry for the very slow reply. I am looking at travelling around Peru March - start of April time and then Bolivia April - Start of June (so I may be able to catch you then) and then back to Peru until the 18th June.

My travel plans (though not completely set in stone) are;

Peru;
Arequipa, Cusco, Machuu Pichuu, Sacred Valley, Aguas Calientes, Colca Canyo, Lima, Ica, Nasca, Huacachina, Lago Titicaca and perhaps Manu.

Bolivia;

Sucre, La Paz, the dangerous road thing, Rurrenabaque (and go to the jungle from there), Uyuni, Salar de Uyuni, Potosi, Ouruo, Tupiza, Tarija and Isla del Sol on Lago Titicaca.

By the way these aren’t in order of visiting.

Also, perhaps there may be a chance that we could meet up in Bolivia, especially since I can’t find anyone to go round there with!

What do you think?

Zoe :)
