Flights are booked....no idea what I’m doing...

....Wondering what the hell I’ve just done….. lol

Cairns to Auckland

Auckland to Singapore

Bangkok to London

I have no idea even how to find my way around an airport. I have no idea how I’m going to travel around NZ and Asia. I have no idea what stuff to take. I have no idea how I’ll get from the airports to my accommodation.

I need a drink…......

You will be fine. When i did a tour around America i had never been on holiday without my parents before.  Luckily i got talking to a girl at my departure airport and we were staying at the same hotel in New York so things worked out good for me.

THings will work out for you.  You will meet people who you can tag along with if you wanted.

If I were you I’d try to stretch out that time in Asia.

Just a month between Singapore and Bangkok is mental. Not only is it a long way between the two cities, so you’ll spend a lot of time travelling, but there is so much to do in between.

Thank you Paula! I’m sure I will be okay; I’ll just be an absolute mess the first day or so I think! Lol!

Yeah I know 4 weeks isn’t ideal. I really wanted to do 2, but I just don’t have the money and Oz and NZ were a bit higher on my priority list this time round!

Booking your flight is the scariest part because it means YOU’VE GOT TO GO*

Your first day of travel will always be awful, regardless of how well prepared you are. Just accept this and realise that day two will be fantastic, you’re going to meet people to spend time with everywhere and it’ll be one of the best things you’re ever going to do :) Most hostels can sort out picking you up from the airport if you’re really concerned about transport, but the places you’re going to have decent transport infrastructure so please don’t fret about that.

Most importantly, have fun!
