Just make sure your next flight departs from the same airport. If you’re flying in on Emirates but out on Air Asia, for example, you’ll have to change airports.
I’m flying the same airline all the way….... so should be the same airport right?! *worried face*
Like Warrick implied, there shouldn’t be a problem unless you’re changing airlines. If you’re flying on the same airline for the entire flight, it’s highly unlikely you’ll have to change airports.
I’m not entirely sure if this is 100% accurate, but based on my own experiences, the Air Asia hub was that small airport whose name I can’t remember, but long-haul/bigger airlines flew from KLIA.
Just double check your booking, but you shouldn’t have any worries.
Also KLIA was a pretty decent airport. Flew back to the UK from there last December and it okay.
If you’re on the same airline you’ll be using the same airline.
It’s only if you’re using a budget carrier you’ll have the change. The other airport is actually called the “Low Cost Carrier Terminal” (LCCT), and is pretty much a bus station.
