Im setting off round the world for a year on October 5th all on my tod.
Im wanting to keep a blog of my travels, what I get up to, experiences I have, share photos etc… and would like some suggestions as to which blog site to use.
Also is it possible for me to link my blog to Twitter, Facebook so all my friends can see it?
Heard about Tmblr thats about it…
Any suggestions to what you lot have used, are using or are planning to use would be beauty.
Cheers!

Can you use travelpod offline on your laptop?
Hey,
I have just returned from my first trip. I set my own blog up using Wordpress. You can also get a cool domain name that is personal to you. Check mine out if you want an idea. http://www.tomarhawk.com It is. great because you can change and modify it to how you want. Another good blog is http://www.offexploring.com You c.an also link it to Twitter an facebook via plugin and I also use an App for blogging on the iPad called Blogsy which is so quick to use and updates easiliy when your on the move. Hope that helps.
The best blog is one that is kept up, has a decent amount of photos and doesn’t have too many spelling mistakes (just a personal pet hate). As for which online service to use, my favourite is TravBuddy.com

Blog on gapyear.com! The site blog system is going to look amazing. Soon!
Technically, as I no longer work at gapyear I don’t know if that’s true. And don’t have to keep saying it.
But I believe it will happen.

i found travelpod very good , like the different features of a map , miles travelled , countries visited and lots more
I’ve used Blogger for about a month now and I’m pretty happy with it. Plus because it’s google its tied into all their other stuff pretty well.
Wordpress is another big one. I’m not a fan of Tumblr I on’t know why though.
I am pretty old school like that and used pen and paper…
I blogged on blogger and here throughout Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam but it just became a burden with super slow internet connections, not having a laptop to upload pictures and so on.
All I’ve got on paper will soon end up on a word press page together with lots of photos etc but I’d rather do it properly now I have more technology available and it’s amazing to re live some of the most amazing moments of the last 12 months while updating my blog :)
