South East Asia Jan-mid May 2013

HEY!!

basically, there is a group of three of us going off to south east asia together and we would very much enjoy meeting up with another person :))
We are a girls, aged 18 and 19 (when we leave anyway), 2 from the Netherlands and me from the UK - none of us have ever met each other, which may sound a bit crazy, but oh well :D anyway our plan is….
Vietnam, 3 weeks beginning Jan
Cambodia 30 days (visa restrictions) 26 will be volunteering with exploring at weekends
Laos 2 weeks of action packed awesomeness!! i.e the tree top experience and a poke around Vang Vieng :D
Thailand 3 weeks ish - north to bangkok
then at least 2 of us are going to Singapore for 3 days or so and back through Malyasia for a week,
then back to Thailand to relax before flying back home!!
we have plans to go scuba diving too ;)

anyway if this sounds like the type of thing you’d be interested in then drop us a line and we will get back to you :))

Hi Guys,

I’m also heading out to Thailand to travel S.E.Asia in Jan/Feb 2013.

I fly into Bangkok and wanted to try and arrange to meet up with some people there as I wasn’t too keen on Travelling the whole of Thailand on my own. Anyway, I was talking to a mate who just got back from S.E.Asia and he recommended doing a group tour with TruTravels (he said he did one last year and it was awesome). I checked it out and the tour does look good, plus it finishes on Koh Phangan a few minutes walk from the full moon party beach… The only thing that was originally on my list was a full moon party and I was thinking either Jan/Feb/march… They have groups starting mid Jan, Feb and March that finish a few days before the party so worth thinking about…

I did want t do everything on my own but after speaking to my pal I’m thinking the tour might be a good way to get started & meet people. He said it was all young people looking to have fun and reckons he spent a lot less in his first week then other people he spoke to who did Bangkok on their own… It’s only 7 days so after that I’ll be doing everything independently (or hopefully with new travel buddies)... After this, I’m thinking of island hopping for a few weeks then heading back up north to explore more of Thailand before doing Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia (in any order), then over to NZ for a while. Then maybe to South America too if I have enough time & money.

Morning All, 19 M from the UK, I’ve spent the last month In Cambodia and as the story goes am ready for more adventure, hangover willing - But if timings right I’m more then happy to make my way back to Cambodia and share all the value experience over here .
