BYRON BABY!!!

heyho! ive left sydney, and travelled the grueller upto byron. ive had probably the most awesome weekend ever. like, of my entire life. where to start…thursday - went to a bar/club/sticky floor place at night, was very cool, met a 2 irish girls who were lovley, a swedish (or maybe norweigan) guy and an english girl called helen at my hostel so we all went out together. also met a couple of aussie blokes who are, get this, SHEEP SHEARERS!!!! i thought they were having me on, but they actually were! they were really cool. friday i went on a mammoth walk (like 7km min) along the beach, through the bit of rainforest and up to the lighthouse, and guess what - i saw DOLPHINS!! like in their naturally frollicking frollicky state! actually had a hysterical fit on the cliff, and told everyone who walked past. then yesterday we went to a place called nimbin which was one of the most surreal places ever, cos its exempt from the grass laws, so everyone is just walking round in this dazed happy state. for someone who doesnt touch any sort of drugs, it was so weird to see, so i went to the market and bought lots of funky things :)
then yesterday evening, i met up with jemma and we went to a really sophisticated type bar, but was way too expensive so we left pretty quick. we then headed to my beloved cheeky monkeys, and started to queue. jem then (bless in her drunken state) was too tired to queue, so i had a choice of going back to the hostel or find randoms to latch. no competition really. I met the most amazing group of girls, from brisbane, called kate, megan (its fate) and laura, and they were so awesome. we’re going out for my last night tonight, and then im gonna give them a bell when i get to brisbane and theyre gonna show me all the best places to go. I love them! then today, there was a market on in byron, and i love markets. so i bought some fudge, a bracelet and a LUSH photo of byron beach so i can remember it forever and ever amen. and now ive just booked my frasier island, whitsunday island boats and tours, all for $300, which is 100pounds, pretty damn wicked. but now i really need to get a job!!!
