hey everyone, just another quite note to add to the updates! currently in phi phi, one of the islands that was badly damaged after the tsunami. weve been doing volunteer work during the day to try and help the local people get back on track. have been doing beach cleaning, bit of gardening and the other day we helped clean out the island school. was really upsetting actually as on the blackboards they still had the date written up…friday 24th december 2004, obviously the last day they were in school before the weekend of the wave.
we took a break at the weekend and went to ko phangan for the full moon party, it was absoultely fantastic! totally an indescribable experience. we got there about 4 in the afternoon of the saturday and left sunday morning about 8am! if u havent been to one before then its definately worth going to, its amazing!
planning to leave phi phi on the 31st to go back to bangkok to fly home, loving it here though, definately is complete paradise.
