Project Life:Children’s Activity Leader Ghana is looking for adults over 18 to run Afternoon Workshops for children at our Ghanaian schools. We are looking for people from all walks of life, of all ages, with all kinds of experience who think that they could rise to the challenge of stimulating primary and secondary age pupils. If you are passionate about a subject or hobby and think that it will translate well into a workshop then this programme may be for you. We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers with an infectious personality and engaging manner to captivate the students. You will open their minds to new ideas, new skills and new thoughts, which they will respond to and give you a wonderful and rewarding teaching or coaching experience.
You will need to ask yourself if it is feasible. Are there the resources that you need or can you easily buy them from the local markets and shops? Are there any other volunteers who want to do the same thing? Can we compile an even better programme with more than one person running the workshops? It is strongly advised that you start to prepare your workshop before you start your placement.
