Challenge Canada Results - 3 Finalists
Votes have been counted and verified, we have selected our 3 finalists who will be in with a chance of winning Challenge Canada. Our winners will get return flights (thanks to Zoom Airlines), two rail passes (thanks to VIA Rail) and an all expenses paid four week trip of a lifetime around Canada in Summer 2008. Hey guys, this is our first EVER travel blog so we thought we’d start by introducing ourselves and a wonderful place called the Isle of Wight.
This travel duo consists of two art students studying in the sleepy countryside town of Farnham (Surrey not an apology, just a place). You may be questioning the need to visit another bunch of fields, but really the ‘Extreme Isle’ is a whole different kettle of fish.

Joe J - This is 'THE' Great Outdoors!
So hey it turns out the Lake District has weather so temperamental it makes weather in Walton on Thames look acceptable, so much so I don’t think I can even moan about it ever again.. however they get snow and we don’t so the argument is just!
But the Lake District is easily one of the most breathtakingly beautiful places I’ve ever seen.. the hills, forests, rivers, lakes and EVEN the weather give it such amazing beauty on such an epic scale I can finally understand the reason for people choosing to have a holiday in Britain! Before I really couldn’t comprehend haha!

Jon & Paul - Operation 'win a trip to Canda'
You know it’s great to be a student when it’s 9am on a busy February Friday and you’re waiting on platform five of Sheffield station for the next train to London St Pancras. Operation ‘win a trip to Canada’is now underway and what we capture today could well decide whether I get to travel across the pond this summer.
My childhood was spent a 45 minute train journey outside London, which allowed it to become closely embedded in my heart. Teasing me in my teenage years, it was close enough to visit, but not close enough to call my home.
