It is based in Kenya's finest Safari locations; The Masai Mara, which is home to the gentle Masai Community and it aims to reduce conflict between the people living on the land and the wildlife in the area. Volunteers work to preserve the culture, the land and the vast array of species living together in this region.

Kaya offer four different diving projects In Belize, Thailand and Mozambique. The local communities and marine wildlife are greatly affected by increasing tourism and global warming, so initiatives have been set up to conduct research and take protective measures. These projects are suitable for both experienced divers and beginners, who can work towards qualifications in the same time.

Skilled and unskilled volunteers are all welcomed at this busy wildlife sanctuary in the heart of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The sanctuary cares for abandoned and sick wildlife and rescues animals reported in danger from farmers or communities - moving them to safe reserves. The aim is to rehabilitate and return them to the wild, from lions and leopards to monkeys, antelope, reptiles and birds. Animals are also studied for educational purposes, zoological study or in the case of endangered species, introduced to breeding programmes. Volunteers roles are so important, to help with general upkeep of the animals, to care for the sick and orphaned and help research and releases. This is a project that benefits animals and the local community alike, and you can be part of that change.

Join this unique project in Northern Thailand that works with Hilltribe communities to educate families about the realities of Human Trafficking. Help within the camp that houses young girls (8-15 yrs old) who have been released from the industry, providing education, support and working on building and farming for the camp. Volunteer from 3 weeks to 3 months. For those interested in Photography, the project leader, who is also a photo-journalist, is running a 15-day photo-jourmalism camp and trek into the hilltribe communities that teaching technique whilst promoting the cause in February - a must-do for any photography enthusiasts. You can combine both or choose one to get involved with and make a real difference.
