The culture of a particular area might be expressed not just through language but through gastronomy, wine, art, or literature. Similarly, the identity and culture of many places can be expressed through sport; surfing the Basque Coast, sailing the Mediterranean, skiing, snowboarding and snowboarding in the alps, football in Brazil and Argentina. A language study trip is not only the perfect chance to enjoy them, but also a chance to understand what the local sport means.
