Fundraising jobs![]() Job: Charity fundraiser Location: London, Kent, or travel UK-wide Click here >> to apply online Charity doesn’t have to mean working for nothing...Work as a fundraiser with DialogueDirect and not only do you get to represent some of the UK’s leading charities and not-for-profit organisations, but you are rewarded for your hard work with an excellent pay package. This is an ideal opportunity if you’re taking a gap year - you can save money, gain valuable skills for your CV, travel the UK and make new friends. All of this and doing something worthwhile - what could be better? As the UK’s largest fundraising agency, DialogueDirect has a client list that includes Amnesty International, The British Red Cross and The Children’s Society. Our fundraisers recruit thousands of long-term donors for our charity partners every week. DialogueDirect prides itself on being dynamic, creative and different — and on making fundraising fun. Our dedicated, ethical and energetic style, combined with our hugely successful track record, has enabled us to build up an unrivalled reputation. Kathy McKay from the children’s charity NCH commented: 'DialogueDirect's professional, supportive and enthusiastic approach has meant that we have successfully set up a new campaign to recruit regular givers. The long-term income generated will help NCH to reach out to some of the most vulnerable and excluded children in the UK." Our fundraising teams travel around the UK whilst enjoying the benefits of team life with a small group of like-minded people. We provide transport and comfortable holiday-standard accommodation, so you are well looked-after whilst you are working with us. You will live and work as part of a team of five and spend a week or two in a town before moving on to new area. If you like meeting new people and travelling, then this position offers a fun and unique lifestyle and close friendships. We ask for a five-week initial commitment. After this you can chose when you want to work providing you complete a full week at a time. There is a guaranteed wage of £213 per week, and additional pay is performance-related so most of our fundraisers are earning much more than this. The current average wage is £300 per week and some of our best fundraisers are earning above £500 per week. Fundraiser Craig Roberts writes...'The people at DialogueDirect rock: they are the friendliest bunch you’ll ever meet. Every day is different and we get to go to loads of different places. I’ve earned a lot of money for myself and The British Red Cross, and really grown in confidence. It’s a great way to meet people and travel, and I would recommend it to anyone.' DialogueDirect are currently recruiting fundraisers for our travelling teams as well as our teams based in London and Kent. So if you are unable to travel away from home and you live in London or Kent you can still join one of our fundraising teams. We are looking for confident, self-motivated team players who have a genuine empathy for the charities. You will need to able to communicate freely with all members of the public. Fundraisers will receive full in-house training as well as some training from our charity partners. There is great potential to develop within the company in a short space of time. So whether you are looking for a starting point to launch your career in the not-for-profit sector or you are looking for an ethically paid temporary or gap year job, DialogueDirect could be for you. We are proud to be working in this sector, raising awareness and securing long-term donations for our charity partners who help make such a big difference to the environment and to people around the world.
