Weekend TEFL
Our intensive weekend TEFL courses are designed to provide you with all the skills you’ll need to teach English in just 20 hours - even if you’ve never taught before.

Using your existing knowledge of spoken English, you’ll have the chance to develop new and exciting methods to create your own lessons, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. And with TEFL certification, you’ll be able to use your newly-acquired teaching skills as you build on your strengths and work on your weaknesses.

Weekend Certificate (20 hours)
20-hour Weekend TEFL course
Weekend training will provide you with a valuable opportunity for face-to-face classroom instruction, giving you a feel for the classroom setting and allowing role-playing opportunities only available through face-to-face training.

The Weekend TEFL course lasts two days from 9-8 on Saturday and 9-6 on Sunday. There will be short breaks where refreshments will be provided (lunch not included).

Weekend Diploma (40 hours)
20-hour Weekend TEFL course + Grammar Awareness Module
The Grammar Awareness Module (GAM) is designed to give you confidence in English grammar. This easy-to-use module takes you through the rules and terminology of English grammar step by step. You work through the GAM in your own time, in your own home. After completing the answer sheets you simply return them to i-to-i for correction.

Weekend & Online Diploma (80 hours)
20-hour Weekend TEFL course + 40-hour Online TEFL Course + Grammar Awareness Module
This is the highest i-to-i TEFL course you can do and includes all the components you will need to develop into an exceptional TEFL teacher.

- Free practice activity: letting students communicate

- First teaching practice & feedback

Sunday
- Drama and role play
- Pronunciation & Intonation
- Reading & Listening: teaching comprehension skills
- Grammar: tenses and time
- Error correction: getting the most out of your students
- Final teaching practice preparation
- Final teaching practice & feedback
- Employment in TEFL: career options
