An internship is a placement scheme that offers on-the-job training and career development, boosting your opportunities for the future. Internships are offered all over the world, but instead of completing an internship in London, why not complete an internship in New York or Sydney?
Internships are aimed at students and post-graduate students aged 17-26 and run for four to 12 weeks. Even though it's usually unpaid, your accommodation and travel expenses are covered by the company.
International internships provide opportunities for students to gain experience in their field, determine if they have an interest in a particular career, and work out if they want to relocate to a different country.
An internship abroad will look amazing on your CV and make you much more employable for the future. Not only that, but an internship abroad really gives you the opportunity to get to know a country on a more intimate level. And who knows, you may even be offered a job at the end of the scheme!
