As the Pool Lifeguard you will take responsibility for the appearance and upkeep of the centre swimming pool and the safety and well-being of its users. An acute awareness of safety issues is an important pre-requisite for this role.

To work as a Pool Lifeguard you need to be qualified to a minimum of the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) Pool or Beach Lifeguard. It is also important to have enthusiasm, be willing to learn and have lots of energy!

Please note that this role at Domaine de Segries in the South of France comprises purely of Lifeguarding duties.

Skills
A minimum of the RLSS Pool Lifeguard is required for this role and we offer a comprehensive training course to give you the skills, expertise and confidence to do your job, including other core activities/ duties.

We look for applications from people who can demonstrate energy, enthusiasm and the ability to relate to young people.

Duties
Working as an Pool Lifeguard offers a great deal of variety, not just because you will find yourself doing lots of different activities, but because you may also find yourself helping the Activity Instructors/ Group Leaders with evening entertainment or liaising with visiting teachers and party leaders.

Training
All of our Pool Lifeguards undergo a comprehensive training programme when they first join PGL. Not a lot of experience? No worries! Anyone who joins the PGL Staff team for the first time with limited or no previous experience can join us on the PGL Apprenticeship Scheme. This provides an industry-leading package of training, support and qualifications, enabling people to join PGL at a range of experience levels and will equip you with the skills and confidence to perform your role. There are no age restrictions on our apprenticeship programme.

Wage:
