If you’re aged 18-30 and from either Australia or New Zealand then you can apply for a work and holiday visa (WHV), which allows you to live and work in the USA for up to a year. Your WHV allows you to work in any job, from working in a bar in Boston to leading a Camp America tour in San Francisco. You’re only limited by your ambition and imagination.
If you’re not from Australia or New Zealand then a number of companies run programmes to the USA where they will sponsor you for a certain period of time. Programmes include working in a summer camp as a camp counsellor, ski resort positions and nanny positions.
