Help to give the children of Phnom Penh a chance of a brighter future by volunteering in a Cambodian orphanage. Your role will be to assist with education and care giving local staff a hand and you a chance to immerse yourself in the local culture.
You’ll be helping to provide the children with the vital education they need through lessons and encouraging the development of their skills. You’ll also be able to give them some much-needed attention, support and care.
The working hours at the project are Monday to Friday 9am-11am and 1pm-3pm, leaving your weekends free to explore the area. Teaching will be the main focus of your role and activities include:
• Arranging lesson plans
• Teaching English lessons
• Teaching drawing and painting
• Helping with health education
• Taking care of children during class
