Welcome to gapyear.com magazine! We know you're passionate about backpacking, travelling, getting off the beaten track, meeting new people and learning while you're living. That's why you're here on gapyear.com. But we know there are times when you're not on the site; you're in the bath or on the bus or just don't feel like being connected. That's why we've produced a shiny new magazine.

The magazine is packed with tips and tales from travellers like you. It showcases some of our best writers and photographers. It's aimed at anyone interested in travelling for the experience, on a short gap, gap year, or permanent gap. We want your time on the road to be easier, safer and more fulfilling.

We've published magazines before. The last was in 2001 and is now a real collector's item. We're not planning an 11-year gap before the next one though.

This new issue is jam-packed with inspiring articles about such things as game ranging in South Africa, skydiving in New Zealand and volunteering in Peru. We've also featured a load of 'how to' articles, such as planning your trip, the art of travel photography, and beauty tips while travelling. And finally, just because we could, we've interviewed Brit music award-winner Ed Sheeran; as you'd expect, he's a really nice guy.
