The historical gap year markets in Australia and New Zealand are fairly similar to that of the UK. Traditionally Australians and Kiwis head to the UK on their gap years. Developments this week, however, will help create a boost to the Australian and New Zealand outbound gap year numbers as the US Government has finally opened its doors with new Gap Year visas.
