So much has changed in the time I have been away from this site that I can barely begin to list it.
This coupled with the shock of logging in to a completely changed gapyear.com site from what I remember has served to ignite the passion a for travel I had feared was lost to the stresses of university life and unsuccessful job hunting.
It is for this reason that I have decided to try again at something I have long tried and failed to maintain, blogging. My fallacy of a tumblr account and sporadic updates on twitter have over time proven only to demonstrate how uninterested others are in the innane everyday antics of my life, or what anime I am currently crying over.
This blog shall be different. This blog is for me. I think it is a wonder of travel it that awakens an entirely individual thirst for development, an experience only you can gain and learn from on a personal level. I have decided to incorporate this into my writing, to express entirely for my own development, and to share only to enrich the lives of myself and others, not in a desperate plea for attention and approval.
It is with this in mind that I shall live, and write my travels. Not for others, but to improve, explore and learn.
My journey is only just beginning.
