After arriving in Nairobi, we set off for the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti (optional excursion), a UNESCO World Heritage Site boasting some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa. On the way to Dar es Salaam (weather permitting) you may get a glimpse of Mt. Kilimanjaro – Africa’s highest peak and the world’s highest free-standing mountain. We then head on to Zanzibar for three days of island exploration or rest and relaxation on the beach – the choice is yours. On to Malawi, where the massive Lake Malawi offers some respite from the equatorial heat. Swim, canoe, snorkel or scuba dive in the lake, or simply work on your tan from the shore. The final stretch of the journey takes us to Zambia and Victoria Falls, where you can really get the adrenaline pumping with a range of action-packed activities – go white-water rafting, bungee jumping, or arrange a flight over the majestic falls and get up close to ‘The Smoke that Thunders.’
The Wildlife Express includes transfers from Nairobi airport, transport in a fully equipped expedition truck, camping fees and necessary equipment, the services of a three-man team and most of your meals. We also offer a Northbound journey, starting in Victoria Falls and ending in Nairobi.
