The local communities and marine wildlife are greatly affected by increasing tourism and global warming, so initiatives have been set up to conduct research and take protective measures. 5 Day PADI Open Water Dive Course
Duration: from 5 Days
Spend the best five days of your life learning to be a certified scuba diver. This is the 'Open Water' dive course, recognised by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) and one of our most popular options. Marine Conservation Expedition in Belize
Travel with an award-winning organisation, winners of 'Best Volunteering Organisation' category at the 2012 British Youth Travel Awards and 2010 Responsible Tourism Awards for its marine conservation expeditions. Volunteers from all over the world travel to our sites in North Belize to conduct reef monitoring, research and conservation work side-by-side with international scientists, international NGOs and community members whose livelihoods depend on healthy coral reef ecosystems for survival.
Outdoor Education Placements

While paid staff are always present, our volunteers are in high demand to help meet the individual needs of every camp-goer. All applicants are matched to placements to ensure that there is a good fit between the volunteer and their host communities.
