Discover the wonders of imperial China with touring of Beijing’s finest attractions. See if the Great Wall really is great as we climb a section of it. Get ready to embrace life onboard a train as we hop on to the legendary Trans-Mongolian for our cross-country journey. Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia’s capital is the first stop. Visit a nomadic family and camp in a traditional Mongolian ger in the Terelj National Park. Crossing over the border and into Russia we spend a few nights on the shores of Lake Baikal where you can spend your days at leisure or get up to something a bit more lively with optional activities. Explore the curios architecture of Irkutsk, a town with the Asiatic influences of nearby Mongolia and China. Moscow marks the end of our journey.

Enjoy guided touring of Beijing, including the Great Wall. Accommodation is provided throughout the tour either on-board the train, in hotels or in local home stays. We also spend two nights camping in a Mongolian ger. A range of optional activities are available at Lake Baikal and Terelj National Park.
