The HEP is an experiential and educational entrepreneurship program for outstanding high school students with a keen interest in entrepreneurship. The program is hosted by Next Step Connections at Donghua University.
The NSC young entrepreneur program offers an unique opportunity for high school students to develop entrepreneurial skills, business acumen and Chinese language abilities at an early age.Goals of the program
The goals of the program are three-fold. First, to expose outstanding high school students to entrepreneurship principles, second, to teach students the best practices for leadership as well as how to manage innovation and grow a business, third, to learn about business practices, culture and etiquette in a foreign setting in China.
Not only does the Young Entrepreneur Program give high school students a competitive edge over their peers in college preparedness but it also gives them an invaluable educational experience in which they expand their knowledge of China and learn about the fundamentals of business, finance, and entrepreneurship.
Next Step Connections wants to inspire tomorrow's entrepreneur leaders. On the last day, the participants will formally present their business idea to a panel of Asian business leaders and investors.
