From the fascinating capital of Lima, head to the mighty Amazon Jungle. Marvel at the gigantic trees that stand tall above you and keep your eyes open for creatures of the rainforest. Walk along ancient Inca trails and discover the Lost City of Machu Picchu. Limber up on your bartering skills and nab yourself an alpaca sweater in Puno before meeting the indigenous population and enjoying their hospitality as you stay in their homes. At the impressive Lake Titicaca discover where the desolate Andean plateau meets the fertile valleys and storied peaks. Experience colonial Peru in the beautiful city of Arequipa and be amazed by one of the world’s deepest canyons. Work out your own theory on the strange desert etchings of Nazca, sand board down enormous desert dunes and watch dolphins at play from your boat cruise around the Ballestas Islands. Head back to Lima where this once-in-a-lifetime journey concludes.

We make use of local hotels, hostels and guesthouses and spend one night on a homestay with the locals. As well as included domestic flights, we travel by train, boat and taxi, and local public buses enable you to interact with the people of the country.
