Discover some of the most magnificent man-made structures in the world on this journey through the fabled lands of Egypt and Jordan. Marvel at the pyramids and the Rose City of Petra, experience the Nile onboard a felucca, relax in the coastal resorts of Dahab and Aqaba, and see the desertscape of Wadi Rum.
Kicking off in Cairo, visit the famous pyramids and sphinx before an overnight train takes you down south to Aswan. See the High Dam and travel by boat to visit the Temple of Philae. Spend the next two nights under the stars as your felucca cruises you down the mystical Nile, stopping off at the temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu. The living-museum that is Luxor is our next port of call. Explore the magnificent Valley of the Kings, the dramatically located Temple of Hatshepsut and the monumental Temple of Karnak. Enjoy a little R&R diving, snorkelling or simply sun-lounging in sunny Dahab before heading across the waters to Jordan. After an obligatory float in the Dead Sea, see what Moses once saw with the stunning views from Mt. Nebo then discover the Christian town of Madaba. Travel through the famous, narrow al-siq to arrive at the astounding Rose City of Petra. Encounter the surreal desertscape of Wadi Rum in a 4x4 jeep safari before heading back to Egypt to finish with a visit to the famous Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
