Snow Zone
Snow Zone
If you’re into skiing and snow-boarding, take a look at the options for a winter gap year in the snow zone.
Canada has some of the world’s best ski slopes, but if that’s too far away, look no further than Austria, France and Switzerland.
Courchevel, Obergurgl, Saas Fee, Selva Val Gardena, St Anton, Val d'Isère and Verbier are all fantastic slopes on which to learn or master skiiing. You can train to be a ski instructor in Canada or a snow-board instructor in France.
Or maybe you just want to shred the slopes in Australia and New Zealand. It’s not all skiing. You can hike in the Andes or the Himalayas as well as a host of other opportunities. Whatever you want to do, you’ll find something in the snow zone.
